Food & Travel Photography

Need food or travel photography for your website, catalogue, social media feeds or magazine? My photography style is editorial and atmospheric, imbued with light, colour and a sense of place and mood. I shoot from my fully-equipped home photography studio in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds or can travel to your location. My travels have taken me from the souks of Marrakech to the Italian countryside, by way of Seattle’s farmers’ markets and the vineyards of Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

Writing is part of my package, particularly when it comes to documenting my own experiences. I also write about food artisans, winemakers, food culture and brands for magazines and websites including Eater, the Kitchn, Edible Seattle and Seattle Refined.

I’ve always had a love of food - cooking from scratch with my Italian mother and using seasonal produce grown on my father’s allotment. Although I grew up on the edge of London and now split my time between Notting Hill and the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, I have lived in France and Italy and have just returned from over a decade in Seattle. My recipes reflect this dual European/US sensibility, a deep respect for seasonal cooking and eating, and an unhealthy love of baking and carbs. Let me develop recipes for your website, blog, book or magazine from scratch or help you develop and write up your own favourite recipes.

Content Creation

Are you a food or hospitality business that needs help creating compelling content for your Instagram feed, Facebook page, website or blog? I can provide photography, write articles and copy, develop or adapt recipes and even create stop-motion videos. Hire me to take your social media feeds to the next level – creating and sharing food stories is what I do.

As someone who came late to the joys of developing a regular creative practice and building my own creative business, I adore coaching others to make sense of the weird wonderfulness of their own lives and become empowered to write the next thrilling chapters of their stories. I trained as a life coach with the Martha Beck Institute and learned how to help people move beyond fear, shift perspective and fully master their thoughts and emotions. I often use Tarot cards as a fun way to help people access their subconscious knowledge, but if you think this is nuts (and honestly who would blame you) we can do without.
